What we collect
There is no login, no mailing list and no comment box on WhereGamble, so your name never reaches us unless you write to us. Our server logs the usual technical details of each request: IP address, browser, the page asked for and the time. Messages sent to us are kept only until the question is dealt with.
Cookies the site sets
- mz_vid — set on your first page view, kept for 12 months. A random identifier that lets us count returning visits without knowing who you are.
- mz_src — set on your first page view, kept for 30 days. Records which route brought you: a search engine, a link elsewhere, or the address bar.
- mozbiz_session — set only on a click through a
/go/link to an operator, kept for about 20 hours. A technical session for the redirect. - XSRF-TOKEN — set with the session above, also about 20 hours. A security token against cross-site request forgery.
All four come from our own server. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics. The page styles load from the public jsDelivr CDN, which, like any server, receives your IP address when your browser fetches the file.
Clicking through to an operator
A /go/ link records the click, then sends you to the operator. The operator or its affiliate platform may set its own cookies to attribute your sign-up to us; that processing is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. We never receive your casino account details, deposits or bets.
Why we use it
Serving pages, protecting the server, counting visits and settling commission with operators are the only purposes. Personal data is never sold.
Retention
Cookies expire as listed above. Server logs are rotated and deleted within a few months. Correspondence is removed after the matter is settled.
